Tonguechair

Through the years I have been using my orange Tonguechair a lot. It is just a perfect object to ’shape’ a body. Not that easy to do for a model, but full of challenges.

These are remarkable and fascinating! I have searched for such poses for my life drawing for a long time. I love the triangulated forms, and the challenge to the viewer in asking ‘Is this pose really possible with one body?’ Thank you so much.

There is something special with the first, third and sixth picture. I love looking at them. I feel strength, freedom, a sense of being. The way the light caresses their bodies. They look so at ease with themselves and their surroundings…….respect for the artist and the models…
